Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters more than speed. When a KUROPLAY news story is wrong, we correct it openly.

How to report a mistake

Tell us which story is affected, what's wrong and, if possible, a link to an official source. Reach us through the Contact page.

What we do next

  • An editor checks the report against the original source and any official statements.
  • Factual errors are fixed in the story and a dated correction note is shown at the top of the article.
  • The story's “Last updated” date changes so readers and search engines can see it was revised.
  • If a story turns out to be unfounded, we remove it rather than leave misleading information online.

Small fixes

Typos and formatting fixes that don't change the meaning of a story may be made without a correction note.

Original source changes

If the original publisher updates or retracts its report, we update or remove our brief to match, and note the change.

More about our standards

See our Editorial Policy for how stories are sourced and verified.
